Its been a long wait for some PlanetSide players to get the long awaited reboot of the series with PlanetSide 2. Anyone that played the original PlanetSide for any length of time has their own epic tale of epic combat and long-fought wars over various territories on Auraxis. And SOE has teamed up with The9 to get a few of those stories on record.
In a new video titled 8 Years", several players tell their tales of PlanetSide war and their hopes for PlanetSide 2. In addition to the new video, SOE has announced a new PlanetSide Vet Video Contest. The contest calls on PlanetSide veterans to create a 30s video diary confessional describing their most epic and memorable moment of their PlanetSide experience. The grand prize winner will receive two All Access passes to this years SOE Live event held from October 18th-21st. Check here for full contest rules and details.
