While not an MMOG, this one is worth mentioning for our readers and fans of George R.R. Martins Game of Thrones saga. Rumors that Telltale Games was working on an installment of the series were confirmed over the weekend at the Spike VGA Awards when Telltale revealed a brief video announcing the new Game of Thrones project.
Telltale Games, who made an impact on the gaming community with their excellent story-driven addition to The Walking Dead saga, will release Game of Thrones sometime in 2014, likely during the winter to take advantage of the "Winter is Coming" slogan. While the story focus of the game was not revealed, it will be based on the HBO show that is developed from the "A Song of Fire and Ice" series.
