A new post to the Warhammer Online website today states that BioWare Mythic has once again adopted its original name of Mythic after a shift in focus at the studio. Mythic initially changed its name to BioWare Mythic in 2010, but given recent changes, Mythic has reemerged, complete with a new Facebook page and website.

In the wake of a new focus our studio has recently changed its name from BioWare Mythic to Mythic. Everything else stays the same - our passionate teams will continue to support and develop our existing titles as well as working on some new and exciting projects.

As for why the BioWare moniker was dropped, let’s just hope it’s not a sign of things to come.
