Crytek is joining World of Tanks developer Wargaming on the Xbox 360 console with its free-to-play shooter, Warface, in early 2014, just in time for the current generation of consoles to start dying off as the next gen gets settled in. Though the title will be free-to-play on the PC, you’ll still need to pony up the cash for an Xbox Gold subscription to play. Something just feels off when you say free-to-play with an Xbox Gold subscription. I just can't place my finger on what.

Sarcasm aside, if you want to keep tabs on the latest updates for the upcoming console port, head over to the Warface Xbox website and sign up for the newsletter.
