The devs over at Carbine Studios are packing up and heading down to San Diego Comic-Con this month to hang out with fans and talk about their upcoming WildStar MMORPG. If youre going to be attending this years Comic-Con event, you can join members of the dev team that include Creative Director Matt Mocarski, Lead Narrative Designer Chad Moore, Content Director Mike Donatelli, and Design Producer Stephen Frost for a WildStar panel discussion on storytelling and character development for WildStar in Room 24ABC at the San Diego Convention Center on Friday, July 19th, 2013 from 11:30am-12:30pm PT.
Following the panel discussion, Carbine will be hosting a public fan event later that same evening from 7-11pm PT at the SummerSalt Rooftop Pool Deck and Lounge located at the Hotel Palomar. Attendees will have a chance to meet the WildStar devs and get a first look at two new races and some hands-on time with the game.

Two new races detailed, fans to go hands-on with most anticipated MMO of the year
WHAT: Carbine Studios is excited to announce two public events featuring WildStar, the most anticipated MMO of the year, during Comic Con next week in San Diego. The events include a panel discussion with the games lead designers and directors at the San Diego Convention Center, and a fan event at the Hotel Palomar downtown. Additional information on both events is below.
WildStar Panel Discussion
Storytelling and character development in MMOs can be extremely challenging, but both are vital when trying to launch a new IP. Lead Narrative Designer Chad Moore, Content Director Mike Donatelli, Creative Director Matt Mocarski, and Design Producer Stephen Frost will explain how characters and stories are developed in WildStar. Join them as they discuss the creative process behind key characters, the development of story arcs, and how those efforts culminate in making the player the star of the show.
WildStar Fan Event
Attendees will have a chance to play the game, get a firsthand look at two new races and be treated to a meet and greet with the devs to ask questions and learn more about the latest WildStar news.
