Wargaming Celebrates 15-Year Anniversary with World of Tanks Tournaments

Wargaming is celebrating its 15th anniversary with a series of tournaments for its flagship war game, World of Tanks. The competition will be held in traditional eSports 7v7 format and kick off later this month with tournaments scheduled for various regions that include Europe, North America, Russia, South Korea, Southeast Asia, China, and Vietnam with finals being held in near the end of June.

The tournament victors will also walk away with some nifty prizes. Second and third place winners will receive a massive prize of in-game gold currency while the winning teams from each region will earn themselves an all-expenses paid trip to the World of Tanks development studio in Minsk, Belarus.

Winning teams from major global regions to receive all-expenses-paid trip to meet World of Tanks dev team

May 16, 2013 - Wargaming, the leading free-to-play MMO developer and publisher, today announced a special World of Tanks tournament in celebration of the company’s 15th anniversary. The tournament will unfold in key regions around the globe, including Europe, North America, Russia, South Korea, Southeast Asia, China, and Vietnam. Winning teams from each region will score themselves an all-expenses-paid trip to the World of Tanks development studio located in Minsk, Belarus.

Following a traditional eSports 7 vs. 7 format, the tournaments will kick off in May, with final games scheduled for the end of June. Second and third place finishers won’t walk away empty-handed and will take home massive in-game gold prizes for their efforts.
