Nothing
completes your in-game ensemble like the perfect vanity pet.
Much like finding the perfect purse, or a great pair of shoes, choosing
the right vanity pet can give your in- game attire that extra oomph.
However, like finding that perfect complimentary piece in real life,
finding the right non-combat pet for your needs can be tedious and
sometimes costly.

Vanity pets come in all shapes, sizes, and colors, and range in price
from the very cheap to the insanely costly. Choosing from the huge
number of pets may be daunting, and for those of us with more meager
funds it may seem impossible to find a cheap yet fashionable pet. I
assure you though, that there is a pet out there for every player, and
every outfit, and you won’t have to spend your days dancing
naked on top of the mailbox to get it. To aid you in your search here
is a list of thrifty, yet good looking pets that will help accentuate
your gear and how to get them.

Siamese Cat

style="float: left; width: 141px; height: 225px;" alt=""
src="http://www.tentonhammer.com/image/view/82469">Now
easier than ever to get (running
Deadmines is no longer required),
you can purchase this pretty kitty for just 60 silver by visiting
Dealer Rashaad in Netherstorm. This cat is a must have for any Death
Knight as it sets off their glowing white eyes and usually dark gear
beautifully. However this cat is not just for Death Knights, any player
with glowing white, blue, or darker gear, or just players who love cats
can benefit from the presence of this old school cat. The Siamese Cat
exhibits typical haughty cat behavior, letting it be known that it
would like nothing more than to take a nap by stretching and yawning
when idle.

Crimson
Snake

style="float: right; width: 250px; height: 290px;" alt=""
src="http://www.tentonhammer.com/image/view/82465">Nothing
says sexy like a snake, especially a red one. This little beauty is
purchasable by Horde and Alliance like the Siamese Cat from Dealer
Rashaad in Netherstorm for a mere 50 Silver. Don this snake when you
feel the urge to put on your naughtiest bits of clothing, dancing is of
course optional but encouraged (hey it worked for Britney Spears in
I‘m a Slave 4 U). The Crimson Snake is also great for
accenting the toon with fiery red hair, or sporting predominantly red
gear. The Crimson snake slithers seductively when on the move, and
peers around itself sniffing the air with it’s tongue when
idle.

Disgusting
Oozeling

style="float: left; width: 250px; height: 113px;" alt=""
src="http://www.tentonhammer.com/image/view/82466">I
won’t lie,
this amazing pet will take you a little time,
and patience to collect. However it’s well worth it, and you
will even manage to make a little extra cash while grinding for this
unusual pet. The Disgusting Oozeling is the perfect pet for those
players who want to give the impression of inapproachability, while
still remaining stylish. The Oozeling will not only ward off other
players (nothing says stay away quite like a
“Disgusting” pet) but will also bring out the green
in your gear, hair, or eyes, which is further enhanced by the green
aura given to the player from time to time. It should be noted that the
Disgusting Oozeling does grant -20 defense and -20 to all resistances
and should not typically be used in combat situations. Don’t
worry about lack of stimulation though, as you will find the Oozeling
is quite the one man party animal. Offer your Oozeling Dark Iron Ale
and it will eagerly move toward it and lap it up, making any college
frat boy proud.  The Disgusting Oozeling is a random drop from
Oozing Bags. Oozing Bags drop off Oozes in Felwood, Eastern Plaguelands
and the Un’Goro Crater.

Senegal

style="float: right; width: 200px; height: 270px;" alt=""
src="http://www.tentonhammer.com/image/view/82468">Price
of Senegal - 40 Silver

style="font-style: italic;">
Savory
Deviate Delights - 30 Gold a stack

style="font-style: italic;">
Letting
out your inner Pirate - Priceless

Aargh! We all have a little Pirate in us and it’s good to let
it shine through from time to time. What better way to do that than
completing your pirate costume with the accent piece that no true
Pirate can do without; a parrot. The Senegal can be purchased from
Dealer Rashaad in Netherstorm and is an exceptionally good looking bird
for the price. With it’s green body and multicolored wings
this parrot is sure to get you noticed. Since this parrot sports many
different colors even if you leave your pirate gear at home it will
still look good with any class or race in any kind of gear.

Perky Pug

style="float: left; width: 207px; height: 140px;" alt=""
src="http://www.tentonhammer.com/image/view/82467">Every
classy outfit needs a classy looking pet, so if you enjoy getting
all dressed up whether it be in a Tux or in a Lovely Dress, Perky Pug
is the pet for you. To obtain Perky Pug a little work is required.
 You will need to use the Dungeon Finder tool to group with
100 random players. Once complete Perky will show up in your mailbox
and be ready to go to your next formal affair. Perky just screams
wealth, class, and attitude, but be wary Perky
didn’t’ quite complete his dog training, so
hopefully no one notices as he drags his doggie butt across the floor.

These are just a few of the many pets out there, however any one of
them would be an excellent addition to your World of Warcraft wardrobe.
Pick any of these pets up and you will certainly be ready to say that
famous line “All right, Mr. DeMille, I'm ready for my
close-up.”
