BlizzCon Dwarf

BlizzCon 2013 is drawing ever nearer
and Blizzard fans everywhere can barely contain their excitement for
the two day gaming extravaganza. While there is a lot to look forward
to at this year's BlizzCon, I am especially looking forward to are
the competitions. Particularly the Hearthstone Innkeeper's
Invitational and the World of Warcraft Global Invitational.

However, despite my excitement, I
didn't really know who to root for. The World of Warcraft Global
Invitational players hadn't been announced and as for the Hearthstone
tournament, well I frankly just didn't recognize any of the names.
That has all changed with a recent set of announcements that gives us
insight into exactly who will be attending both exciting functions.

The line up for both is pretty
impressive to say the least. So, get your squee voice ready and read
onward to learn more about who will be attending both the Hearthstone
Innkeeper's Invitational and the World of Warcraft Global
invitational.

Hearthstone Innkeeper's Invitational

Unlike many other tournaments,
invitations for the Hearthstone Innkeeper's Invitational weren't
given out after many lengthy tournament battles. Instead the players
invited to this hardcore game of cards are some of the best and most
dedicated fans out there. That doesn't mean that there will not be
some intense game play here. I expect things will get pretty intense
before this tournament is over.

The list of players for the Hearthstone
Invitational was released quite awhile ago. However, while I was
excited to watch the tournament play out, I simply didn't recognize
any of the names. I always like to find someone to root for, you know
that one person I really connect with. Unfortunatly it seemed I would
have to wait till the day of the tournament to find out who I liked
and disliked, that is, until recently.

Hearthstone Invitational Players

Blizzard has foresaw that players would
want to connect with those elite top players taking part in the
Hearthstone Innkeeper's Invitational and offered up a set of small
interviews with all eight players to help us get to know them. The
interviews are to be posted in two parts and will profile each of the
player's taking part in the tournament.

The first four interviews have already
been released on Blizzard's official blog under Hearthstone
Innkeeper's Invitational: Player Spotlight and highlight Noxious,
Hafu, Husky, and Reckful. Each of the players is asked a set of
similar questions and their responses are insightful and interesting.
These interviews are a great way to connect with these players and
figure out who you want to be rooting for in the tournament. So get
reading!

World of Warcraft Global Invitational

Eight top Arena teams have fought their
way to the top and will have the privilege to attend BlizzCon and
test out their skills in an epic set of battles to the death. The
teams hail from various places around the globe and the line up is
pretty impressive. Check out the imagine below to see the list of
