Released with path 3.0.2, Glyphs are learnable spell modifiers that
allow you to customize your character and enhance your spells and
abilities

A level 80 character can select up to three major
glyphs and
three minor ones. With the introduction of the Dual Talent style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: "Times New Roman";">Specialization
in patch 3.1.0 players who
purchase this ability will now have
two sets of glyphs depending on their current talent build.

Originally glyphs could only be scribed when you were near a Lexicon of
Power, this was removed in patch 3.1.0 as well, making on the fly glyph
swapping possible.

While there are many combinations of glyphs available, and hopefully
many more to come soon, there tends to be a few that rise above the
others in regards to raiding.

Glyph
of Wild Growth
Major Glyph - Allows your
wild growth spell to expand from a 5
target heal to a 6 target heal.
While druids are rarely called on to simply raid heal, Wild Growth is
one of the most potent spells in our arsenal. Adding an additional
target to it is especially beneficial in high damage zones like Ulduar.

Glyph
of Lifebloom
Major Glyph - Increases the
duration of Lifebloom by 1 sec.
This may not seem like a substantial increase at first glance, or to
non druids who don't fully understand the Lifebloom mechanic. Lifebloom
unlike other HoTs heals every second it is on the target, not every
tick. Adding an additional second to it has the immediate effect of
increased health to the target but also the domino effect of elongating
your HoT rotation and increasing your five second rule mana regenration
rate.

Glyph
of Nourish
Major Glyph - class="q2">Your
Nourish
heals an additional 6% for each of your heal over time effects present
on the target.

So far in my testing this has been the most beneficial glyph for tank
healing. Nourish is lightning fast if you have a decent amount of
haste. I tend to use my wild growth for a fourth hot on my main tanks
so  I have seen HUGE nourish heals with this glyph.

Minor Glyphs -
So far the minors for druids
have been fairly underwhelming ,
but there are a couple of choices that are fairly nice.

Glyph of the
Wild

class="q2">  class="q2">Mana cost of
your Mark of the Wild and Gift of the Wild spells reduced by 50%

Glyph of
Unburdened Rebirth

class="q2">  class="q2">Your
Rebirth spell no longer requires a reagent.

Glyphs are another step Blizzard has taken towards allowing greater
character customization. I encourage you to try as many as you can and
see which work best for your play style as this is currently the least
expensive form of customization in the game.

Until next week, stay safe and have fun in Azeroth!
