Disarmed

The
basic strategy for Kologarn is to kill his Right Arm,
then kill the body, then go back to the Right Arm when it respawns. All
the while the Left Arm will be taking AoE
damage from raid members attacking the Rubble. When an arm dies the body
takes 15% damage. Therefore, if your raid makes
sure the left
arm below 10% when Kologarn has between 20-30% health (it should be
just from
AoE damage taken), then the raid will kill the right arm and quickly
move to
the left and kill the remaining 10%. You
need to make sure when you do this achievement that the second arm you
kill
also kills Kologarn. Killing both arms
at the same time when Kologarn still has health is basically mass
suicide.

Kologarn without any raid member being hit by Focused Eyebeams on
Normal/Heroic
Difficulty.

This is extremely self explainatory.Don’t
get hit by the eyebeams! A way to help to insure
nobody gets hit is to
have all your ranged and healers stand in a line parallel to Kologarn. This
way, when he casts eyebeams you take a few
steps forward and run sideways. This
strategy insures nobody gets hit by an eyebeam that’s not
focused on them.

Kologarn with 25 Rubble creatures alive on Normal/Heroic Difficulty.

In
theory this achievement is very easy, but in practice,
not so much. The plan here is to never
attack the body. The tooltip can be
slightly misleading also, the achievement is not to kill Kologarn while
25 are
alive, its to have 25 alive at any point during the encounter. Your
raid should focus on the right arm, kill
the rubble, wait for the right arm to respawn, rinse and repeat. Do
this 5 times, then finish him off.

With Open
Arms

Kologarn without destroying either of his arms on Normal/Heroic
Difficulty.

This
achievement requires extreme DPS. Your
raid will focus on Kologarn’s body, when
someone gets picked up by the right arm your DPS should attack that arm
until
he or she is released by Kologarn. From
there your raid continues DPS on Kologarn’s body. There
will be a point when you cant attack
the right arm when someone gets picked up simply because you would kill
it if
you continued attacking. So, hit
Kologarn as hard and as fast as possible and hope your healers
don’t get picked
up in the late going.
