The first and second rules of the Brawler's Guild is of course that you DO NOT under any circumstances talk about the Brewer's Guild. However, not talking about the Brewer's Guild means we can't give you any information about this fantastic upcoming addition to World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria. So just this once we are going to take a chance and break the rules to give you a general overview of what the Brewer's Club has in store for you in Patch 5.1.
Underground fighting rings have sprung up in both Orgrimmar and Stormwind. These seedy establishments are run by the notorious Brawler's Guild. Here players can engage themselves in solo PvE challenges designed to really test each characters fighting prowess. These fights are rumored to be some of the toughest PvE solo encounters Blizzard has to offer and even the most battle hardened veterans may find themselves hard pressed to defeat the challenges the Brawler's Guild has to offer.
If you think you are tough enough to participate in this brutal form of World of Warcraft PvE combat, you can find a Brawler's Guild in both Orgrimmar and Stormwind City. Be warned though, that if it is your first night in the Brawler's Guild....you MUST fight. If you still determined to seek out these guilds continue reading below for their locations.
The Orgrimmar ring can be found in the Valley of Honor and greatly resembles the Ring of Blood with its large pit surrounded by the obligatory wooden spikes. Being one of the largest buildings in the city leads us to believe that perhaps the Horde version of this guild is not as secret as it should be. Currently the outside of the building appears to be under construction.
The Brawler's Guild located in Stormwind City is a totally different story entirely. Placed in a totally newly created area, complete with a hidden entrance inside the Deeprun Tram, the Alliance version of the Brawler's Guild comes complete with an underground bar and rather unique lighting. All in all the Horde really got shafted (in my humble opinion) when it comes to locale of the Brawler's Guild in World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria. I may even take my Horde loving butt over to hang out in the Alliance Brawler's Guild just to enjoy the excellent aesthetics.
When engaging in a Brawler's Guild match the player will be pitted against increasingly difficult opponents. As mentioned before, these are supposed to be some of the most difficult challenges in the game, so don't expect to get off easy here. Each player will take on these matches solo, with no help at all from any other player making this a real test of your playing skills.
While you will not have any help undertaking your battles inside the Brawler's Guild, do not assume you will be alone. These underground fights are fully spectator sports and players from your realm will be able to sit back and watch as you take on challenge after challenge. Due to the fact you will likely have a full audience bearing witness to your ultimate success or failure players can expect to have encouragement, cat calls, and possibly even the occasional rotten piece of fruit thrown their way. Winning will become even more important to the player who does not wish to humiliate themselves in front of their peers.
As the player finds more and more success in the Brawler's Guild your rank will increase and more and more activities will become available. This means that the Brawler's Guild will give players something to do for a long time to come.
So besides giving your character an unprecedented solo battle challenge what exactly will players gain from participating in the Brawler's Guild in World of Warcraft Mists of Pandaria Patch 5.1? Glory. Success in the Brawler's Guild will surely give your character unparallel glory that is typically reserved for those who delve into the world of PvP. For the first time ever this feeling of supremacy will be available to those of us who would rather stick with the PvE side of things.
Glory not tempting enough for you to rush headlong into battle? To sweeten the deal players who compete and win in the Brawler's Guild will receive exclusive rewards for their character. What exactly these rewards will be we can't say, but they are likely to be interesting indeed.
We cannot wait to try out our hand in these underground fighting rings. Will you be joining your factions Brawler's Guild? Do you think these underground fighting rings will be a success or a total flop?
