The Krasarang Wilds will be the second zone that most players visit in the Mists of Pandaria expansion. This zone is meant for players level 86 through about level 88 and you are lead here even earlier than that as some of the first quests in the Valley of the Four Winds will have quests that involve characters here. However, if you have been following our walkthroughs we purposely did not follow those quests until this point.

Hence, one of the first quests that you complete in Krasarang Wilds will be finding Ken-Ken as requested for the Hidden Master quest chain that you got from Xiao when you first entered the Valley of the Four Winds.

Quest Hub - Zhu's Watch

This first area that we visit in Krasarang Wilds is an outpost that is in disarray. The guards are wanteding aimlessly and no one seems to be doing anything. It will be your task to set things straight.

Zhu's Watch
style="text-align: center;">Ken-Ken is wondering what is happening with Zhu's Watch, since most of the time Pandaren love to talk and drink, but this town is down right crabby. He would like you to find and talk with four different Pandaren in the town: a warden, Sunni, Yun, and Mei. They can be found hiding in the houses around town.

Mei Barrelbottom wants you to find his nephew Yi-Mo which he says should be someplace near the cliffs to the northwest. He knows that Yi-Mo has always been sort of a downer and the situation lately has only gotten worse.

Once you find him you will be granted a kickable keg so that you can roll Yi-Mo home.

When you find Yi-Mo he really wants nothing to do with you. He states that it's like his soul is tired and he wants nothing to do with anything. He wants you to just leave him for the thunderbirds.

Use the barrel to get him home and beat the vultures off while doing it.

Mei thinks that the situation around town has something to do with the ponds drying up in a single day. Even thought there has been rain the water just disappears. Mei would like you to destroy at least 12 of the weeping horrors that are found in the dried ponds.

Ken-Ken knows now what is wrong with the Pandaren of Zhu's Watch and has a solution for it. He needs you to find some items for him to be ale to make it. Find 4 salty core, 4 slick mudfish, and 4 chunks of honeycomb.

The salty cores are found by defeating the weeping horrors in the dry pond beds. While in the pond beds you will also find the slick mudfish laying around. The honeycombs are found in the trees around town. Once you have these items return to Ken-Ken in town.

Since Ken-Ken's remedy didn't work he wants to try something else. He doesn't say exactly what this remedy is, but it does involve woodworking, panther fangs, and paint.

The panthers can be found nearby in the woods outside of town, while the paint can be found in the same cave as you find the enemies for the Securing the Province quest.

This is an obvious referance to the Joker's line from the Batman: The Dark Knight movie.

Mei needs some help defending the town since all of the guards are too busy crying around town. He would like you to head to a cave that is north of town and beat back the Sauroks that are there and attempting to take advantage of the towns situation.

Make sure that while you are in the cave you find the pigment for Why so Serious quest.

Mei's other request to help defend the town is to keep the memorial fires lit around the southwest part of town. The fires will help keep the beasts away from town. While in the area this is where you will find the panthers to kill to get the fangs for the Why so Serious quest.

style="text-align: center;">With all of the items collected for Ken-Ken he has created a mask to scare away the blues. He would like you to use it on 8 different despondent wardens in town. Once you put it onto the Pandaren a manifestation of the sadness comes out of the guard which you need to defeat.

Since the mask has worked so well on the guards, Ken-Ken wants you to use in on Yi-Mo as well. This time however it pulls out a much bigger manifestation, the Sha of Despair.

Defeat the Sha of Despair to finish your task of healing the towns inhabitents.

Quest
Hub - The Krasari Ruins

This isn't much of a quest hub with only a few quests found here, but it is on the way to your next location so make sure you complete them. As a perk several of the quests revolve around the famous Nesingwary Safari team.

style="text-align: center;">

Just outside of the Ruins you also find a member of the legendary Nesingwary Safari team. However it seems that you have met the redheaded step child of the team, since Daggle really isn't much of a hunter. She needs help hunting down some cranes, but doesn't have any ammunition.

Bring back 12 Carp Hunter cranes for her.

After proving yourself to Daggle she asks that you go after a huge crane found by the waterfall to the northwest that she calls Needlebeak. In exchange she will give you a good referance to the rest of the Nessingwary safari.
