World of Warcraft at Ten Ton Hammer

Getting that world first kill, achievement and being the top guild has become a huge driving force for competitive gamers. A new World of Warcraft documentary premiering today and titled "Race to World First" takes aim at this aspect of gaming. The film chronicles the efforts of the guild Blood Legion as they work to become the #1 guild and overtake rival EU guild Paragon.

The documentary focuses on the community of online gaming and some of the less-known aspects of friendship, diversity and cooperation that are often lost in a sea of stereotypes.

Race to World First is the inside story of a community that remains largely hidden from the general public, and is negatively stereotyped in the media. The film redefines the image of the gamer, focusing on the commitment, cooperation, and tremendous diversity within this culture, and on the many positive aspects of the massively multi-player online (MMO) community.
