This past week the on the Ten Ton Hammer network we posted several previews and articles focusing on Cataclysm. The zone of Durotar and the changes that are going to happen there were looked at and the brand new zone of Deepholm was looked at in depth. For all you PVP fans we looked at the changes coming when rated battlegrounds are launched. Lastly, we look at how players can start getting their guilds ready for Cataclysms launch.

In WoW news this past week there was a lot of talk about the patch 4.0.1 that was launched on PTR and is now streaming out to WoW players through the background down loader. This is an important step since this is the patch that will prepare WoW for Cataclysm's launch by implementing many of the new features, new talent trees, and much more.

As players level in World of Warcraft: Cataclysm they will be sent to all new zones. Once past the starting zone of their choice they will be directed to an underground zone called Deepholm. This zone is completely different than any other zone yet in the game due to being in a separate elemental plane and essentially underground. Join Byron “Messiah” Mudry as he explores this unique zone in the beta.
