Our favorite accented
developer at Mythic Entertainment prepared a present for all the
WAR players this past week.

Barnett's video blog
released some of the first details of the end of year holiday Live
Event, known as Keg End. Coming from our Dwarven friends, the
celebration is as good an excuse as any to drink, cheer, drink some
more, and shoot off a few fireworks for good measure.

At the Tome of Knowledge blog, Rackham gives players a

into the
Live Event, including a look at some of the ToK tasks we can expect
to
see. As a nod to the Keg End roots, the blog post starts with a great
over-all history of the Dwarfs from their Warhammer beginnings. It's a
great read for Order and Destruction players alike.
Calm Before the Storm
The week began like any other, with the normal run of game news.

Diary showcased the Player Statues. Content Design Lead James
Casey provided us with pictures of the incoming statues, along with a
look at the development process the statue idea went through.

afternoon saw a patch that updated a few classes and fixed some RvR
issues. The final barriers were

on Tuesday as the Knight of the
Blazing Sun and Black Guard classes were opened to all players. Rumors
circulated through the Warhammer Online community that there would soon
be
href="http://www.tentonhammer.com/node/50926" target="_blank">Official
Mythic Forums for the game. As if players really need
anything more than our own

We Have a Problem
Thursday dawned bright and sunny as the

Patch Day for 1.1
arrived. The servers went down early in the morning, promising to
return around lunch time. They did come back, briefly, before a slew of
problems caused a shut down once again. Later on a
style="color: rgb(238, 232, 170);"
href="http://www.tentonhammer.com/node/51181" target="_blank">new game
client was made available for download. Oh, but Thursday's fun
wasn't over yet! A
href="http://www.tentonhammer.com/node/51221" target="_blank">late
patch corrected a lot of the bugs that had been
experienced throughout the day; including the massive fare increase at
the Flight Masters! The Tier 1
href="http://www.tentonhammer.com/node/51220" target="_blank">Nordenwatch
Scenario was down
temporarily, as the cause of crashes and other related issues were
tackled.
One amazing result of the 1.1 Patch was the massive Open RvR battles
that ensued shortly after. Whether players were exploring the RvR
Influence and rewards, or just showing a little Realm pride, the
increased numbers of players definitely made an impact. No one felt it
more than those on the Badlands server as the T4 Dwarf zones crashed
from the massive weight of the battling players.

chapter in the story about our friend Rathann the Black Guard
was published this week. How loyal to the cause would

Entertainment wanted to clarify a few things in regard to the new

Overflow mechanic in game. Brasse has a thing or two to say
to the

that don't know their jobs in her comic, while Rackham
speculates on why it really took so long for the

A new Inventory
Overflow has been patched into the game! This feature will allow you to
keep some items that may have been previously lost if your backpack was
full. Look for the Overflow icon on the bottom right of your backpack
window. Once you have cleared space in your bag, right click the
Overflow icon to move it in to your backpack.

drop to your Overflow are:
