Aion Weekly Newsletter - Tis the Season

 

Holidays, both in game and in real life, are wonderful.  For many of us
this is a time to enjoy family, celebrate occasions, or just enjoy a couple of
extra days off work.  While this time of year seems to always bring a
little bit of a lull to the gaming community, I still find a few minutes to
sneak in game amongst the holiday rush and hope you all do too.

This newsletter may be a little short and sweet because I still have one more
holiday gathering that I have to make before I'm free to get back into my
regular daily schedule, but I wanted to remind Aion fans of a few limited time
offers that are going on through the holiday season.

First, the
Solorius Holiday Event is happening in Aion right now through January 6th. 
Special treats and fireworks are available on the holiday vendors in the main
cities of Sanctum and Pandaemonium, giant pianos for your creative enjoyment are
stationed near those vendors, and new costumes to wear around town have been
added.  It's a festive event but will be gone again very soon.

Next, the second
double
experience weekend went on this week but if you missed it during the holiday
rush, no worries! Next weekend will also have the double xp event and NCsoft rep
did mention that these events will be held once or twice a month in the future. 
Take advantage and either get that main character into new content, or blow
through early levels with a brand new alt!

Finally, I want to remind readers that the

Thanks to the guys at
Aether Podcast
for this one. To search for the price of an item on the broker, right click on
the item in question in your inventory with the broker search window open and
the item name will pop right into the search box! No typing needed and clicking
another item automatically clears the previous item name. This little feature
makes brokering much faster. Also, the broker no longer requires proper
capitalization on item names which is a huge relief for us grammar lazy players.
