The second Alpha Journal feature has moved on over to be posted fully on the DDO official forums. Check it out, here.
Same as last time, there is some narrative detailing how the stories specifically relate to neat game features with the adventurers' stories. This time around: racial bonuses, targetting, monster resistances/behavior/awareness, weapon type effectiveness, skills, spells, and other ruleset implementations.
This week we have two journal entries focusing on combat. One features the continued adventures of Greyven, and the other introduces us to a new character, Neah.
Monsters patrol their territory. They can also hide and spot hiding characters, the same way that players can, if their skills are high enough.
