Two Beta Player Stories

Gamina and Phractal, have posted some of their experiences in the Vanguard Saga of Heroes Beta on the official forums. Gamina goes into depth about crafting and harvesting. It appears there have been some changes to harvesting, as Gamina was only able to choose two harvesting paths. Phractal tells his story from a roleplaying perspective as Phractal and a few friends travel Telon looking for adventure, glory and loot.

Overall... the game is becoming a very solid playable game the crafting is rewarding and challenging the harvesting is fun and the adventuring is a just the icing on the cake. I look forward to the release of the last isle Kojan to see what all it has to offer and also to dabble in player housing. I want a guild hall the size of BC. Now I know they are not going to allow that... but oh that would so be the best thing.

As we finally reached the top we stopped in our tracks and just stared in awe. The view that was presented to us was absolutely breathtaking. We were looking down into a beautiful valley, full with palm trees and a river snaking its way through it. Further south the ocean gleamed in the sun and to the west was anotherr mountain range bordering the other side of the valley. We just sat down there and enjoyed the sight for quite some time, taking in every detail and not saying a word. It was fantastic and a great reward for the journey and a good change from fighting. It was fantastic!
