Producer Blaine Christine of BioWare recently sat down with The MMO Gamer to talk about Star Wars: The Old Republic (SWTOR). The interview touches on a number of topis such as the game's creation process and why players will want to play more than a simple lightsaber wielding Jedi. Blain also talks about how a player's choice through the storyline will influence their character, making simply being good or evil a bit more complex than simply picking an allignment. Light and dark side points are given for a player's choices, much like BioWare's Knights of the Old Republic game.

The best answer to that is it’s going to be similar to the other games we’ve done. If you look at KOTOR and how that worked out, if you played light side versus dark side, there were distinct different in the story, and distinct differences in how your character developed.
