As Tracey John found out at this year's Blizzcon, Blizzard intends to continue to support their MMOG king, World of Warcraft, for a good long while. That certainly won't stop them from diving back into the genre to fish for more Blizzard fans for their upcoming unnamed MMOG. Tracey talked a bit about this with Blizzard's Chief Operating Officer Paul Sams and managed to snag a tid-bit or two.
Sams: Yeah, I cant comment against the game, the level of detail, the business model or any of that stuff. But what I could tell you is that were intending to create a game experience that is unlike anything that has ever been done before. Something that I think takes things far beyond what anyone has imagined and certainly anything anyone has executed. I think a lot of people love this product, WoW, and anticipate that theyll continue to love it and continue to want to play it.
