The Burning Crusade FAQ has been updated to include the system requirements for the upcoming expansion. It appears that if you can run WoW with no problem then "The Burning Crusade" will be no problem as well.
The basic requirements are 800MHZ Processor, 32meg GeForce/Radeon video card, and 512 megs of ram. For more detailed information head over to Blizzard's Official FAQ!
