SOE was recently at the 2006 Consumer Electronics Show and discussed Kingdom of Sky and the current state of the game. Sylvene from Stratics was on hand and reported what was shared.
The new expansion coming in February, EverQuestII:Kingdom of Sky is set in a magical kingdom of floating islands inhabited by such fantastical creatures as Dragon overlords and different races of bird-men and dragon-like creatures such as basilisks and dragon-men. Although we did not get to play the game, I was treated to a movie and a Power Point presentation showing different pieces of concept art as well as screenshots.
