style="font-style: italic;">The incursion of EVE Online will have to wait until later.

The Sansha are poised to cause trouble in EVE Online with the Incursion expansion and players are busy arming the defenses and prepping their ships for battle. But the incursion has been delayed a bit as CCP has decided to roll out the new expansion over three phases, the final phase scheduled to deploy in January.

In a recent dev blog, CCP Zulu detailed the planned content deployment for each phase. The first phase is scheduled to deploy this month and CCP Zulu has posted a list of possible features that "may" be included in the update. Nothing is solidly confirmed but some of the potential content includes: rocket and ammo rebalancing, fighter-bomber missile visual changes, 80 new storyline missions, adding ship factions to the market and many more. Check out the full blog for all the details and why CCP has decided to break down the expansion.
