Now for the election results that really matter, EVE's CSM results are in.
Barrack Obama may have won an election in this country, but Vuk Lau just won an international election to become the next Council of Stellar Management in EVE Online along with eight others voted in as delegates. There are also four additional candidates that will serve as alternate council members, and the full results can be found on the
CSM Election Results page.
Not to be content with just announcing the winners, CCP includes its typical barrage of numbers, frequencies, percentages and commas where decimal points should be (at least from an American point of view, which as we all know is the oldest standing point of view there is). With over 20,000 votes cast, I'd say it was a meager showing of the overall player base, but an incredible showing when you consider the anonymity factor (who is behind that avatar anyway?).
For those keeping up at home, Quantum Rise (the latest expansion which is free as always with EVE) launched last week, and our own Jeff "Ethec" Woleslagle secured a video interview with Arend Stührmann, Associate Producer to talk about what is next. Watch and listen in as Arend discusses the next development for voicechat using Vivox and their voice fonts in the latest news from EVE.
