Sony Online Entertainment (SOE) has launched the new Time Locked Progression Server, Fippy Darkpaw, for EverQuest (EQ). The new server locks out all of the game's expansions and lets players start from the beginning. After certain challenges have been met, players will have the option to vote to open the next expansion in-game after a certain time or to delay its opening for a while longer. To help answer any questions you might have about the new Fippy Darkpaw server, SOE has also updated the Time Locked Progression Server FAQ.
While the server doesn't roll things back to the way they were 100%, there have been quite a few changes and restrictions put in place to try and ensure that players can have fun and experience things sort of like they once were before all the expansions and changes came into play.
