Here is an excerpt of the latest chapter in Chris Connell's fan fiction:
I arrived mid afternoon, my none to brisk pace allowing me comfort, and set straight away to the required rituals. I anointed my brow and prayed at the altar for a while, giving thanks as well for my recent victories.
