Final Fantasy XIV (FFXIV) fans may get their chance to sample the game sooner than expected as the open beta that was announced for early September is ready earlier than expected. According to the FFXIV Twitter page, the open beta will begin for the game on August 31, 2010 at 19:00 (PDT).
The FINAL FANTASY XIV Open Beta Test begins on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at 19:00 (PDT)! We hope to see everyone participate!
In addition to the open beta announcement, a new pre-launch trailer has also been released featuring music from Susan Calloway. FFXIVCore was able to get additional details about Susan's involvement with FFXIV and how she became involved in the project.
