The new Star Trek opens in theatres everywhere tonight at midnight. Sadly, since I have to work, I'll be missing out on the Geekfest that will undoubtedly be. I still remember all the dressed up hobbits and elves for all three Lord of the Rings, and the Star Wars prequels. I'm sad that I won't be seeing any Klingons tonight.
That said, we're just getting started with this whole Trek-oriented run, so stay tuned.
In the meantime, since we're on the topic of people out in space both literally and metaphorically, why not go read about Richard Garriott's latest headline making adventure? If what RG claims is true, shame on NCSoft. If it's all made up, bye-bye Richard. Godspeed.
