Consisting of the physically strong Orcs and the diminutive Goblins, the Greenskin races are perhaps one of the greatest threats facing the Old World. As they are unable to muster under the banner of a single leader, the Orcs and Goblins continue to be a threat that can be maintained by the other races, but for how long?

Official Information

Official Information from EA Mythic

So named because of the color of their waxy skin, the greenskins
are savagery personified. They are ill-tempered, primitive, and live
only to fight. In the absence of another foe, greenskins will eventually
turn on one another for want of violence. In their culture, might makes
right and the weakest members of society are one false step away
from being dinner.

The greenskins have no homeland to speak of. They capture other
race's settlements and then make those places their own, decorating
them with tribal graffiti, wood and scrap materials fashioned into
crude symbols, and oftentimes, the bones of those they have slain.
This leads to a very unique form of architecture that is distinctively
ramshackle.

Periodically, a powerful Orc Warboss will unite the
greenskin tribes into a single swarming mass called
a "Waaagh!", named for the common greenskin battle-cry.
In a Waaagh! , the greenskins unite into a stampede of
frenzied Orcs, Goblins and Snotlings bent on destroying
everything they encounter. Save for pure Chaos itself,
there is no force in the Warhammer world as devastating
as a Waaagh! set in motion.

At the onset of the Age of Reckoning, the greenskins have been united by the Black Orc Warlord Grumlok and his diminutive counterpart, the Goblin Shaman Gazbag. Together, they have led their tribe, the Bloody Sun Boyz, to dominance. Now, they wage war upon the Dwarfs, guided by an unseen hand.

Current Information

Even at the birth of the Empire, the Greenskin hordes of the Orcs and Goblins have caused chaos and destruction across the landscape of the old world. The large and powerful orcs teamed with their cunning goblin brothers have always been held back by their inability to cope without leadership and the fact they have never been unified as a race. With the intervention of the dark elf Malekith, the Orc Grumlok and the Goblin Shaman Gazbag have become the two most powerful Greenskins the world has ever seen. As more and more of the Greenskins flock under the banner of Grumlok's Bloody Sun Boyz, the hopes of the forces of Order seem to dwindle.

In the Badlands, Gazbag and Grumlok are reunited with the Bloody Sun Boyz. Immediately, the two set out to fulfill Malekith's magically-implanted command. Led by their newly-empowered Warboss and Shaman, the Boyz begin their march to the World's Edge Mountains, assimilating any greenskin tribe they encounter and destroying those who will not join. Never before have the Orcs and Goblins seen such strength and power from two of their own kind, and the ranks of the Bloody Sun Boyz swell as rumors of their deeds spread.

Careers

Black Orc

If you've ever played Fantasy Battles you will know how hard an Ironbreaker is, so it automatically makes them the melee tank of the dwarfs. Garbed in the greatest armor the dwarfs can make, the Ironbreakers will hold off any attack... well almost any.

Check out our Career Overview on the Ironbreaker by Clicking Here.

Orc Choppa

The dwarfs have a fine mentality of 'killingsmanship' when it comes to their damaging career. The Hammerer is the Dwarf melee damage career, and is capable of bringing the smackdown to the enemy whenever necessary.

Check out our Career Overview on the Hammerer by Clicking Here.

Goblin Shaman

With ancient Dwarven runes as their allies, the Runepriest can heal their companions and damage their enemies. No stinking magic for dwarfs, just good old fashioned Runes.

Check out our Career Overview on the Hammerer by Clicking Here.

Goblin Squig Herder

Using the marvels of technology, the Dwarf Engineer is able to bring destructive ranged weaponry to bear on their opponents. As primarily a Damage over Time class, the Engineer rounds out the Dwarf forces.

Locations

The Badlands

Between wandering Orc tribes, sneaking dwarves trying to mine in peace, scattered undead, and a tribe of Ogres, the Badlands are probably a pretty Bad place to be for any player...

Tier 3

Black Crag

There’s Greenskins here, then there’s a commando squad of Oathbearers, an evil Empire wizard subverted to Chaos, and the Witch Hunter trailing him...

Tier 4

Marshes of Madness

Reminiscent of the Swamp or Sorrows from World of Warcraft, the Marshes of Madness seem to have a bit more hidden in their depths...

Tier 2

Mount Bloodhorn

As the Greenskins prepare for war they will have to go through the area known as Mount Bloodhorn. With a token force of Empire mercenaries scattered about as well as the more traditional incursions of Dwarves, the Greenskins have ample opportunities for a few good fights...

Tier 1

Karak Eight Peaks

The now conquered Dwarf city of Karak Eight Peaks acts as the capital of the oncoming Greenskin horde.

Views on Allies:

Chaos - In terms of sheer strength, the Orcs are matched only by the powerful warriors of the Chaos Wastes. In times past there were stories of the Chaos Champion Crom and the Orc Warlord Grimgor Ironhide engaging in a battle that lasted an entire day, neither relenting in the destruction of the other. The battle resulted in a draw and both Grimgor and Crom saw their opponent as a near equal. It is unknown how the Greenskins have allied with the forces Chaos or why...

Dark Elves - It can be assumed that the use of Malekith's amulet on Gazbag and Grumlok has somehow made them allies of the Witch King and his Dark Elf minions. Beyond the intervention of Malekith into the Greenskin tribes, there has been nothing but animosity between the two as the Dark Elves raid for Orc and Goblin prisoners just as they raid all the other races.

Views on Enemies:

Empire - Since it was Sigmar, the god emperor of the Empire that drove the Orc Hordes from the lands of the Empire, there has always been a long standing feud between the two races. The majority of the Greenskin hordes have always been held away from the Empire by the diligence of the Dwarves that are positioned nearby to the Greenskin threat.

High Elves - There has always been little contact between the Greenskins and the High Elves. When contact does occur between the two races however, there has been nothing but bloodshed due to their opposite philosophies.

Dwarves - It was the might of the Greenskins that destroyed the ancient Dwarf Empire, and brought the race into their current state of near hibernation. The Dwarves hold no love of the Orcs and Goblins, making it their crusade to hunt them and kill them whenever they encroach of Dwarven lands. The Greenskins would have it no other way, and enjoy the challenge the stunties offer.
