The tax man cometh, and even Robin Hood would pay in WAR.

In this week's Guild Highlights from the Herald of Warhammer Online, the focus is finances. Money makes the world go around and in a WAR economy, everyone pays (if their guild so chooses anyway). In a very detailed article with pretty pictures, the Herald shows off the different ways to save your money, horde your gear or share it with your guildmates.

Sometimes the sharing can be compulsory/mandatory due to the mechanics that allow guilds to earn money in two ways; taxing and tithing. Guild taxes are automatic for all guild members and will be deducted from loot or sales of loot. Guild tithing on the other hand is voluntary and the contribution percentage is decided by the characters (each person determines their own tithe amount).

These are just some of the features that guilds unlock as they rank up. Both taxes and tithes kick in at Rank 3, but the guild vault is not accessible until Rank 4. The guild gold can be used in all kinds of ways to improve the guild and its members. Some of the advantages are claiming of keeps, reduced costs for gear and especially attractive Teleportation Scrolls. Read more at the Warhammer Online Herald.
