Boomjack’s Hero Power Ranking!

***Latest Tier List is now online.  Heroes of the Storm Tier List [Ranked / Pro Edition]

Which heroes in Heroes of the Storm have the most impact on a game you ask?

Which heroes always seem to be on the winning side of the table?

February 10th Patch Notes with explanations from the Dev Team.

I have continued with the Six Tiers rather than using the four from the original ranking.

**Remember, it’s the player’s skill, not the Hero choice that is most important.  This list assumes equal player skill level.

**Also Remember, this is a Tier Listing for players at the highest level.  If you want additional Tier Listings for Quick Match, etc. I can produce those as well.  They will be different in many ways from this list.

Lost Vikings are not included as they are currently not allowed in professional play.   They are showing a 60% win rate in ranked at the moment.

If you are interested only in the META, then here is my February 15th META update.

As of February 19th, 2015, I rank the Heroes as follows.   Your mileage may vary, consult your doctor, don’t feed after midnight.

Tier 1

Assassin – Illidan - Proving his worth and joining T1.  Assassin – Valla - Gets to see action now that Zeratul is normally banned out.  Assassin – Zeratul - Remains T1 and is the most feared Hero in professional play.  Specialist – Sgt. Hammer - Her first trip to Tier 1.  The buffs in the recent patch make her a powerhouse.  She is seen in nearly every pro game.  Support – Malfurion - Another big jump.  He was seen in the majority of pro matches.  Support – Tassadar - Remains T1.  Tas is simply a solid support that provides different assets based on team composition.   Support - Tyrande - Makes the jump to T1.  Combined with Stitches is an incredible force.  (Hook, Mark, Kill) Support – Uther - Back to T1.  He probably should have just stayed here.  Played in almost 100% of pro matches.   Tank – E.T.C. - An enormous jump from the lower Tiers after the patch.  Tank – Muradin - He was always good, but post-patch he delivers even more.  Tank – Stitches - Still the big dog of tanking, though his nerft to Gorge and

Tier 2

Assassin – Tychus - Odin changes are still up for debate.  I personally like them.  Specialist – Nazeebo (all around good choice) Support – Rehgar - Jumps, but I still don't see him as T1 Support  – Brightwing - An excellent choice, but lost some punch in the patch.  Specialist - Zagara -Jumps to T2 Tank – Arthas - Falls to T2 after losing some of his DPS punch.  Still a viable tank in the right hands.  Tank – Tyrael (see Muradin – he won’t be your first choice, but he might be your second)

Tier 3 (Useful if you can't get the Hero that you want)

Assassin – Jaina - No movement Assassin – Kerrigan - The patch hurt her tremendously.  Assassin - Thrall - No movement Assassin – Nova - No movement Specialist - Azmodan Tank - Anub’arak - Jumps up after the patch, but jury is still out.  Tank - Diablo - seems to be loved or hated.  Jury is still out.

Tier 4 (Usefulness debateable - but playable in the right hands)

Assassin – Falstad Assassin – Raynor Support - Lili Tank – Chen

Tier 5 (You need to be very competent to choose these)

Assasin - Sonya

Tier 6 (Avoid or face the wrath of your team)

Specialist – Abathur Specialist – Gazlowe Specialist - Murky

What would you change? Why?
