Many of us recall those lazy weekend afternoons of our youths, sitting amidst scattered bricks and baubles, searching for the perfect bit to complete our latest rocket ship or race car. LEGO is in fact so ingrained in our modern culture that its managed to sneak in as a sub-genre that has swallowed other franchises whole: LEGO Star Wars, LEGO Indiana Jones, LEGO Batman, just to name a few of the more well-known.
And now, with the help of the innovative developers at NetDevil, LEGO has attempted to break into the MMOG industry. But can a game aimed primarily at kids survive in this harsh environment by feeding off adults fueled by nostalgia? Or is creativity best left to single-player games and real-world hunks of plastic?
