Here is a list of all known locations in the world of Warhammer Online. Each location is broken down into their corresponding conflict, and then given a brief description along with a link to our page on that location. From this page you can access any location in the WAR and get official information, screenshots, and even the "TenTonThought" on all of them. What more could you ask for?

If you are interested in discussing these locations or other aspects of zone building in Warhammer Online then I would highly suggest checking out our very own "Enemies & Places" Forum over at the TenTonHammer Warhammer Online forums. You can find that forum by Clicking Here.

Color Coding Destruction Order Neutral

All zones are divided into their respective Tiers. Going from Tier 1 (n00b zones) all the way up to the big Tier 4 zones, listed below are all the released zones for WAR.

There is a Tier zone for each faction and then one neutral zone for Tier 4. Seperate from the Tiers, are the racial capitals that can be fought over by any faction in-game. The lesser zones effect battles in the higher tiers; meaning that Tier 1 zones can effect all the way up to Tier 4 battles and the final battles for capitals. Whilst there are some 'diminishing rates' for the lesser zones, everyone still gets to play a part in the overall WAR.

Greenskin / Dwarf Conflict Zones

Conflict Overview

The Badlands

Between wandering Orc tribes, sneaking dwarves trying to mine in peace, scattered undead, and a tribe of Ogres, the Badlands are probably a pretty Bad place to be for any player...

Tier 3

Barak Varr

First off, everyone should love pirates; and Barak Varr has pirates...

Tier 2

Black Crag

There’s Greenskins here, then there’s a commando squad of Oathbearers, an evil Empire wizard subverted to Chaos, and the Witch Hunter trailing him...

Tier 4

Black Fire Pass

If you’re a Warhammer history buff then you know the importance of Black Fire Pass. As Sigmar and his Empire stood side by side with the Dwarves to keep back the Greenskin tides a long time ago...

Tier 3

Ekrund

Being the “n00b” zone for Dwarves, Ekrund is also at the heart of the fighting...

Tier 1

Kadrin Valley

Slayers are awesome.  There is no other way to describe this zone except as the home of slayers in Warhammer Online...

Tier 4

Marshes of Madness

Reminiscent of the Swamp or Sorrows from World of Warcraft, the Marshes of Madness seem to have a bit more hidden in their depths...

Tier 2

Mount Bloodhorn

As the Greenskins prepare for war they will have to go through the area known as Mount Bloodhorn. With a token force of Empire mercenaries scattered about as well as the more traditional incursions of Dwarves, the Greenskins have ample opportunities for a few good fights...

Tier 1

Thunder Mountain

Thunder Mountain is sort of like a cross between Thunder Dome and Mount Doom.  It’s a dark and scary place with a huge volcano, where two sides enter and only one comes out...

Tier 4

Karak Eight Peaks

The now conquered Dwarf city of Karak Eight Peaks acts as the capital of the oncoming Greenskin horde.

Tier 4

Karaz A Karak

In typical Dwarf fashion, Karaz A Karak is a mountainous fortress that acts as their well defended capital against the forces of Destruction.

Tier 4

Empire / Chaos Conflict Zones

High Pass

Northernmost of the passes that cross the Worlds Edge Mountains, High Pass might well be the most treacherous.

Tier 3

Nordland

As the “newb” zone for the Empire there is a lot of things going on in Nordland.  Hampered by the continual raids of Chaos forces, the men of this northern Empire settlement are constantly on guard...

Tier 1

Norsca

The starting zone for the Chaos Warhosts should be a sweet and easy zone to start in right?  Wrong.  Norsca is where the forces of the Chaos Lord Tchar’zanek begin their march towards the Empire and it is here that their challenges start...

Tier 1

Ostland

As a land dominated by forests, Ostland is somewhere to expect foul things to come out at night. Beastmen live in the woods, and even fouler things are moving in from the Northlands of the Chaos Wastes, but still the men and women of the Empire defend their lands.

Tier 2

Praag

The nation of Kislev is sparsely populated, dotted with settlements and villages that are surrounded by miles of uninhabited land. There are only three large cities in Kislev; the capital, also called Kislev, Erengrad, and the northern city of Praag, which is closer to the dreaded Realm of Chaos than any other city in the Old World.

Tier 4

Talabecland

Sitting between Reikland and Ostland, Talabecland is a location under siege by the forces of Chaos. With Knights Griffon defending them, the people of Talabecland are readying themselves against a massive Chaos Warhost that is on the march.

Tier 3

Troll Country

Troll Country is the name commonly given to the cold and desolate territory that lies to the north of Kislev, and to the south of the Chaos Wastes.

Tier 2

The Chaos Wastes

The Chaos Wastes, also known as the Umbra Chaotica, lie far to the north of the Empire of Men, near the top of the world. Found beyond even the farthest reaches of Norsca...

Tier 4

High Elf / Dark Elf Conflict Zones

- The Elven continent Ulthuan has been revealed, but no specific zones have been announced.

Dungeons

The Bastion Stair

The Bastion Stair is more than just a passage between the mortal world and the realm of Khorne, the Blood God.
