Global Agenda is the futuristic spy shooter MMO built on Unreal Engine 3 that you may not have heard about... yet. Atlanta-based indie developer Hi-Rez Studios has been quietly working their way up to closed beta, and made our introductions just this past weekend at NY Comic-Con 2009. What we've been able to distill so far is that Global Agenda, with its blend of player-controlled agencies, sandbox-style PvP format, drive to control territory, technology, & research, and complex character development systems - may be the game to finally (totally) bridge the gap between FPS and MMO.
