The Japanese can make good comics too!
Straight on the heels of the success of the World of Warcraft comics, Tokyopop is producing a new set of manga novels called Warcraft: Legends. There will be multiple volumes to this series, but how many, we can't say right now. Some of you may or may not remember the Warcraft: The Sunwell Trilogy mangas. Their cannonality has been questioned by some lore folks though - for example, The Sunwell Trilogy was set after the Scourge War - and yet Tarren Mill was alive and in Alliance hands. Definite alternate universe thing going on there.
Following the success of Warcraft: The Sunwell Trilogy, Blizzard Entertainment and Tokyopop have teamed up once again for a new manga anthology series set in the Warcraft universe. The first volume of Warcraft: Legends follows the adventures of new and familiar heroes as they experience danger, peril, and triumph across Azeroth in all-new stories by top manga writers and artists.
Here's hoping there's no other odd curve balls in this series.
