Oatbarton Quest Guide

Oatbarton rest on the outlying borders of the Shire
and Evendim. Being part of Evendim, this area is ideal for seasoned
adventures around the mid twenties. With goblins and spiders to the
east, and wolves to the north, this area offers plenty of work for the
willing adventurer.

Bob Proudfoot is familiar with the
troubles the Greenfields have seen with goblins and is concerned that
those troubles are spreading further into the Northfarthing. Find and inspect the spider corpse
dragged off by goblins. The goblin-camp is at the Bleakleaf Crest, east
of Oatbarton and the spider corpse can be found at

Loc: 22.5S, 64.3W.   Bob Proudfoot is confused by your
discoveries among the goblin-camps. Bob wants you to slay spiders in the
hopes that doing so will make the goblins leave.

Slay 8 Dead-web Spinner

Slay 8 Dead-web Hunter

The Spiders can be found in the field west of Oatbarton at

Loc: 23.1S, 64.7W. Bob Proudfoot believes he has
discovered the plans of the goblins. The goblin-camp is in the Bleakleaf
Crest, east of Oatbarton at

Loc: 22.4S, 64.3W.

You will need to use one of the torches near the fires in the goblin
camp to set fire to 3 bubbling pots around the encampment and then
recover the Hobgoblin recipe by slaying the goblins within the camp.
The recipe is a random drop.

the oat-farmers of Oatbarton. Slay 8 Swarming Locust (23.6S, 66.4W) Slay 4 Locust-queens
Find anything amidst in Nibs Chubb's field. You must find a
stealth wolf called Starving Whitemane at Loc: 23.8S, 66.7W.   Your discovery of wolves in his fields
has upset Nibs Chubb. Talk to Hal Gamgee at Loc:
23.0S, 67.2W.

Young Greensward-hind can be found grazing in the old orchard
just north of Oatbarton centre.

Hal Gamgee suggested you hunt some elk to provide bait for the
wolves then return to him.

Hunt down Young Greensward-hind grazing
the orchard north of Oatbarton at Loc: 22.7S, 67.2W.   You have collected the bait Hal Gamgee
suggested you use to draw out the wolf-leader. Use the elk meat on the stone slab near
the wolf den just north of Oatbarton at Loc: 21.8S, 67.0W.
Once done, slay the wolf that comes called Bonefang.
