TGdaily.com has written an article about the recent issues with Blizzard and the long wait times for servers. This has been an issue since the release of patch 1.9 last week.
Standing in line is a fact of life for many busy restaurants, stores and possibly the Consumer Electronics Show. But it isn't so common with the most popular online game, World of Warcraft. In the past few months, players often had to wait up to 30 minutes just to enter the game and had to endure countless server failures.
Blizzard Entertainment so far has not said what exactly is causing these problems. Sources however indicated that a rush of new accounts from the holiday season and newly added content, which requires players to gather massive amounts of materials for an upcoming virtual war, may have overwhelmed the game developer
