SOE President John Smedley has been teasing details over the last few months about the upcoming Planetside sequel currently codenamed Planetside Next. But Rock, Paper, Shotgun recently picked up on a Twitter post from the SOE President with an intriguing message simply stating, "NC ftw!" Planetside players will easily recognize NC as the New Conglomerate, one of the game's three factions. But Smedley didn’t stop there as he also included a link to a new image render of what appears to be a new tank sporting the marks of the New Conglomerate faction. If the image is indeed from Planetside Next as Rock, Paper Shotgun believes, this would seem to indicate that the NC could return as one of the game's factions. One can only hope.
