If any of you got your hopes up too much, sorry, but Spielberg and Warcraft was a rumor!
The recent unconfirmed report/rumor that Steven Spielberg would be directing the Warcraft movie, which has been doing the rounds of the Web, has been officialy debunked as a rumor!
At SpielbergFilms, an Steven Spielberg fansite, they have posted that they have recieved from the offices of Steven Spielberg the following:
Steven Spielberg's offices have told us in no uncertain terms that Mr. Spielberg will not be directing "World of Warcraft." The project is in development, but not with Mr. Spielberg attached.
