Taxidermy and You: A Guide to Taxidermy in Middle-earth
By: Martuk
Taxidermy made its appearance in Middle-earth with the Book 11 update. This new trophy system allows players to hunt down certain creatures and if lucky, they will obtain an undamaged corpse that can be bartered to the Taxidermist in Bree for a trophy item made for display in a home. These items remain one of the rarest of all housing items and should be displayed with pride should anyone acquire one.
Once you have acquired your new trophy, you will need to visit the Taxidermist named Clar Whitethorn. He can be found a bit south of the West Bree gate at loc: 30.3s, 52.4w. Speak with him and you can trade in the Undamaged Corpse for a trophy to display in your home. Currently, you can obtain Undamaged Corpses for Barghast, Black Bears, Brown Bears, Wargs, White Wolves, and Cave Trolls.
