The Rift Podcast returns this week joined by Trion Worlds' Dynamic Content Lead Will Cook and Sr. Community Manager Cindy "Abigale" Bowens to talk about the lessons learned from RIFT's first World Event, future events, expanding the game's dynamic content and the upcoming 1.2 update. If you missed the first World Event, Will Cook states that the next one is right around the corner.

Trion learned a few hard lessons following the last World Event, but the team has already started implementing changes to the next one to ensure it runs more smoothly and that there are fewer issues next time.

Griefing has been a bit of an issue in some cases with Expert and Raid Rifts and on a PvP server, that's simply part of the risk you take. But on a PvE server it can be a bit frustrating to have your entire raid railroaded by one person suffering from a severe case of douchebaggery. Cook addressed this issue briefly noting that Trion has a few things in the works to address griefing and possibly even prevent anyone outside of your raid from taking part in your Expert or Raid Rift.
