Danny "Ralsu" Gourley doesn't dislike raiding. He's killed a few
dragons in his day. What bothers Ralsu is the way raiding can
take
players out of the game and into an exercise of number crunching and
metagaming. This week, he tells Ten Ton Hammer readers why he thinks
raiding and free-to-play gaming don't mix:
Raid guilds these days are organized (almost to a
military standard), professional gamers. They play for long hours,
practicing strategies until they perfect them.
