RIFT's 1.1 update has been the talk of the official forums over the last week. The update brings a lot of balance changes to a number of Souls and introduces one of the most ambitious content updates for a game only a month old with a new week-long invasion event complete with a new raid instance, River of Souls. Servers are scheduled to come down for the update at 8:00am PDT this morning with an expected four hours of downtime.
While the finalized patch notes have not been released, we have posted the initial Alpha server patch notes from last week. Check them out for an idea of what's in store for RIFT players with today's update.
