WAR Comic: Immersion and Lore Heresy

In his Tome of Knowledge blog, dedicated to Mythic Entertainment's Warhammer Online, player Rackham has once again drawn an awesome web comic. Using the lore uproar that was caused by the introduction of the Draenei to the WoW world, Rackham speculates on the same event happening in WAR. Will Sigmar's own let a crash-landing alien pass?

Whenever I devote time to a serious game like Warhammer Online or World of Warcraft, I take a solid look at the lore and IP behind the game. One of the main reasons I was drawn to Warhammer Online was Mythic’s devotion and adherence to Games Workshop’s constraints and lore boundaries.

What with all the controversy surrounding the addition of Draenei to the WoW lore, I thought of the crazy prospect in terms of Warhammer. What if the Exodar had pushed a wrong dimensional button and ended up crashing near Altdorf instead of the Azuremyst Isle? (wow, how did that island get there??) I would like to think that any such heresy to Warhammer lore and canon would be burn for the IP blasphemy it is!
