the hardworking team at our Warhammer Online Community site have sent word that they have updated the FAQ. It now includes release information!
Q: When will WAR be released?
A: The estimated time of release according to Mythic is the 4th Quarter of 2007.Q: When will the Beta be open?
A:Mythic says that the Beta will be 'soon' but has not specified a hard date.
