Turbine recently joined Warcry for a developer chat about the upcoming Siege of Mirkwood expansion for The Lord of the Rings Online. A transcript to the chat has been posted and answers several questions posed by the community in attendance.
In short, there are plans for DirectX 11 content, but that will be announced in more detail later next year, class questions get addressed, and skirmishes have no cooldowns, but there are a lot of things that also might disappoint a few players such as no improvements to the housing system, no multiple attachment mails, and no virtue cap increase.
