Topic of the Week – Blood Elves and Draenei: Bringing Balance or Nuisance?

This week's Topic of the Week brings a question that many worried about before the Burning Crusade was released. Would the two new races bring a balance to the population of races? Or would they simply introduce a nuisance with the overwhelming majority of people flocking to these new races?

“I think that all of the original races, on both factions, have many good points and it would disappoint me to see them neglected and unused due to the excitement of the two new races. I don't think it's a problem at this point (too many people have invested a lot of time into their toons that are made up of the original races to quit them now), however, as this new crop of players get their blood elves and draenei leveled up, it may be an issue we will face in the future.”
