Write for DDO @ Ten Ton Hammer!

Obsessed with Dungeons & Dragons Online? Spend all day reading the
official forums? Think you can do a better job than us? Put your skills
where your mouth is! DDO @ Ten Ton Hammer is always searching for the
best writers to bring our readers expert advice on each of DDO's
classes and dungeons. Here's how you can help:


General Requirements

What you need first and foremost is a love of online games,
specifically DDO. You’ll also need good basic writing skills. A sense
of humor helps, too. If you have the ability to take ideas and
transform them into words, then you're a writer! It's our job, as
editors, to make your writing shine. You don’t have to be a published
writer to join our team--we’ll make you into one.

Contributing Writer

Contributing writers produce a minimum of one piece of content for DDO
@ Ten Ton Hammer per month. Contributors are noted as such on our DDO @
Ten Ton Hammer href="http://ddo.tentonhammer.com/index.php?module=ContentExpress&file=index&func=display&ceid=10&meid=36">staff
page, and receive bylines for each article they submit.
Contributors may pick their own topics or can receive assignments from
the DDO @ Ten Ton Hammer Community Manager.


DDO @ Ten Ton Hammer Volunteer Staff

Volunteers produce a minimum of two pieces of content for DDO @ Ten Ton
Hammer per month. Volunteers are listed as part of the writing staff on
our DDO @ Ten Ton Hammer href="http://ddo.tentonhammer.com/index.php?module=ContentExpress&file=index&func=display&ceid=10&meid=36">staff
page, and receive access to our private staff forums in addition to
their bylines for each article they submit. Volunteers are encouraged
to think of their own topics in addition to the assignments they
receive from the DDO @ Ten Ton Hammer Community Manager.

a source of invaluable information. You’ll also gain a wealth of

helpful volunteers!


How to Apply

Send your name and/or role-playing name and contact information

with a brief description of your writing experience (if any) and your
interest in and experience with DDO and the DDO community. Please state
your writing interests (contributor or staff). If you have digital art
or other creative experience, please don’t neglect to mention it!

Specialists


If you're one of those people who has experience playing a certain
class or archetype (healers, for example) in DDO, then DDO @ Ten Ton
Hammer wants you! Class Specialists will be responsible for writing the
following guides for their class: spells (where applicable), Feats,
Enhancements, multi-classing, and tactics. Class Specialists are always
welcome to revise or amend our current guides for their class.

Quest Specialists

Like to tell everyone the best way to get through a particular quest? Like learning all the secrets of an adventure? Than you might be a great quest specialist.
