Daily Column New MMOG Articles at TenTonHammer Today Hot Content Real World News - You Can't Make This UpA big round of clap for Mr. Cody "Sell, Sell, Buy" Bye for covering Loading... while I was riding roller coasters and wandering through various tourist traps. Here's a family vacation story that you're not likely to top; as we were driving slowly through Toronto rush-hour traffic, the sun beating down on the road and its inhabitants, my daughter cough, sputtered and....spewed all over my wife's brand new car.
Dilemma, put the windows down and die from heat and car exhaust or leave them up and die from the smell of puke?
I've had numerous e-mail asking if TTH was going to hook up with its readers at BlizzCON. Of course we will. I just don't know when, where or how yet. Stay tuned. In the meantime, head over here to watch our favourite new band.

The TTH team found fit to use another of my random scribblings on the main site. Terrifying! I was fortunate enough to chat with Starr Long, Richard Garriott and Paul Sage while they delivered their demo of Tabula Rasa. You can read the entire piece here.
"Our demo was a star-studded affair, narrated by Starr Long and driven by Paul Sage. Richard "General British" Garriott sat inconspicuously in the second row of seats, directly behind me.In a nutshell, the game is a science fiction, massively multiplayer game that takes place in what could be the world of tomorrow. An alien race called The Bane have arrived and appear intent on tearing us up and spitting us out. Earth has been invaded and humanity has dispersed to the stars where we are fighting for our lives."
If you missed the fury E3 article that I hacked together you can read it here.
"While I was trying to figure out what the heck each hotkey represented they were rushing past, around and over me like Paris Hilton at "Free Dog in a Purse Night". To say that I got beaten up would be like saying that Jessica Alba is winsome or Mike Tyson is a bit of a psycho. Regardless, the game was an absolute blast to play. I'm not sure quite how to describe it in reference to other titles you may have played, but it is truly unique. My best stab would be Unreal Tournament meets Hexen mixed with four parts of all-new gameplay and ten parts of fun. Seriously though, Mike, Peter and Connie were charming, explaining to me the nuances of the game with such zeal that it was impossible not to see how much they loved it.
Now for the nitty and the gritty...Fury has four different game types. Bloodbath, which much like my bachelor party is a 32 player free-for-all. Players must not only attempt to kill their opponents while staying alive themselves, but they must collect the blood tokens that the fallen enemies drop to move up the leaderboard."
We thought that the MMO space inhabited by WoW, EQ2 and the like was large. 34ish million unique "kids" are playing MMOs built just for them. Check it out.
Have a great weekend folks. I'll be back here Monday.
