GMT +1 greetings to you from Norway, where yours truly, Jeff "Ethec" Woleslagle, and my accomplice, Cody "I haven't been to sleep yet" Bye, are in town for the Age of Conan community gathering. If I were you, I'd be jealous as well. The women are hot, the beer is cold, there's not a Starbucks in sight, the hotel room is the best use of a 10 foot by 10 foot space (including the bathroom) that I've ever seen in my life, and the men here all look like 1) Garrison Keillor or 2) Sven from the AT&T commercial. No joke. John "Boomjack" Hoskin could use a Sven. Actually, he could use a new laptop since his blew a gasket during his recent travels. Hence, you're stuck with Cody and I until John gets back to the office on Monday.

Funcom's promised lots of answers and even some surprises from this community event, so you probably want the scoop, you rabid fans, you. It turns out that Funcom mercifully scheduled today as a travel day, meaning it's all about living la vida Viking today. Drinking, maybe some pillaging, perhaps see some fjords and a maelstrom or two. Tomorrow! Tomorrow the latest on Age of Conan will come to light, and just about as soon as we know anything, you'll know it too, so stay tuned, maybe whet your appetite with part two of our video Q&A with Funcom at CES 2008.
